Shane McDermott LL.B., B.Sc., is a health professional with a long-time interest in mathematics (especially the history of mathematics) and astrology.  He firmly believes that the lottery can be predicted, and that astrology will provide a key to prediction.  To this end he has spent over ten years researching the interface between astrology and lotteries (which he terms 'astrolottology'), and owns a mailing list on this niche subject.  He is currently studying mathematics with the Open University.
